Obiettivi formativi
Il modulo intende approfondire le conoscenze della Letteratura di lingua francese attraverso un percorso di lettura incentrato sui modelli di riscrittura letteraria dei miti antichi’ nel corso del XX°. Il corso si propone inoltre di approfondire le competenze di lettura critica dei testi e di fornire metodi e strumenti necessari all’analisi e all’interpretazione degli stessi.
The course intends to extend the knowledge of the French literature with the help of an itinerary of readings centering on the models of literary re-elaboration of the ancient myths during the wentieth Century. Furthermore, the course intends to enrich the students’ capacities of critical approach to the literary texts and to provide the methodological tools required for their analysis and interpretation.

Conoscenza di testi teatrali e in prosa a sfondo mitico nel corso del XX° secolo in relazione al contesto culturale internazionale; conoscenza di strumenti metodologici per l’approccio alle riscritture letterarie dei miti. Capacità di cogliere temi e motivi specifici della modernità in Francia con opportuni metodi e strumenti di analisi.
Knowledge of texts coming from theater and prose relating to ancient myths on the background of the international cultural context; knowledge of the methodological tools required for the analysis of the literary re-elaboration of the ancient myths. Ability of individuating issues and motifs which are specific of the modern age in France with the help of the relevant methods and instruments of analysis.

The lessons will mainly be held in traditional form with the support of slides and videos fostering the participation of the students.

Esame orale. Gli studenti sono tenuti a dimostrare capacità di approfondimento critico, padronanza terminologica e competenze metodologiche finalizzate alla lettura dei testi.
The examination will take place in oral form. The students are required to show the capacity of critically discussing the literary texts with the help of an adequate terminology and methodology.

Riscrivere i miti nel 900: problemi, metodi e prospettive critiche
Nel corso del XX secolo la riscrittura letteraria dei miti antichi introduce un cambiamento di paradigma nell’estetica della ricezione del mito stesso, che smette di essere identificato come categoria totalizzante, normativa e universale, in favore di una sua interpretazione come spazio “provvisorio” di rinvii intertestuali, extratestuali, di analogie, come luogo di nuove sfide della scrittura, di natura testuale, paratestuale, enunciativa, ecc. Il corso si propone di affrontare il motivo della riscrittura del mito in alcuni modelli letterari del XX secolo francese attraverso le più interessanti prospettive di approccio metodologico al mito letterario che la seconda metà del XX secolo ha visto succedersi.The re-elaboration of the ancients myths in the Twentieth Century: problems, methods and perspectives
During the Twentieth Century the re-elaboration of the ancient myths fosters a radical change of paradigm in the aesthetics of their reception, insofar as the myth is no more identified with an all-embracing, normative and universal category; instead, it is interpreted as a “provisional” space of inter- and extra-textual references, of analogies, as a place where new manners of writing of a textual, para-textual, enunciative nature, etc. are attempted. The course intends to explore the issue of the re-elaboration of the myth in a number of literary models of the French Twentieth Century through the most interesting perspectives of a methodological nature focusing on the literary myth developed in the second half of the Twentieth Century.Testi consigliati e bibliografia
